This is the old Benicia Hotel
which was moved and set on a new Basement foundation.
The lot it sits on is the site of an old planing mill.
so I assemblied what looks to be a sawmill stopped in the middle of cutting it's last timber.
This is a work in progress which will eventually have a water element and possible steam and audio.
Bill was tired of having a piece of plywood for security so he
commissioned me to create this gate.
The surface finish will be allowed to rust and be sealed
at a later date.
